Quiet the Mind is an emotional art piece about slowing down when life gets crazy. When you worry about the bills, family, work, and friends all at once not being able to slow the mind down, or it’s always racing through chaos. Sometimes, you need a break to meditate, drink with a friend, take a walk, or exercise to release that chaos.
This type of artwork is a freeform design without thinking. I used charcoal and a picture of a model to free-flow these intuitive markings. Although I was looking at a sample image, I wanted to bring out an emotion with my own interpretation and feeling.
Artwork was created on paper size 17″x14″, but the mat frame size is 24″x18″.
