My name is Tracy Ditto and I am a self-taught contemporary, abstract artist living near Houston, Texas. My background is jewelry and web design and now reinventing myself in the world of modern, expressive art. I have two beautiful children who know better and an amazing husband who let me turn our dining room into an art studio so I could fulfill my dream to be creative and sell modern art online and locally. My artwork is available to purchase through my Tracy Ditto Art shop.

For me, art is an active journey and reflection of experienced influences. I enjoy no boundary type design so each piece is different and an interpretation of my experience. This allows me to be free with my painting. Additionally, my interests range from minimalist, subtle colors that calm me to explosive, brilliant colors that profoundly excite me. It is whatever provokes my emotions or curiosity that I love about art.

Using professional Golden and Nova acrylic paints ensures my work are high-quality pieces that last. I love to use other mediums such as pastels, graphite, or markers to be more expressive and add a layer of excitement. Getting messy is the plan so I may pour paint one minute or use my hands to smear paint the next. I can be conventional using a brush or find endless objects/tools to be creative with.

 Being creative is my soul therapy. Art is my voice, excitement, and my interpretation of what it means to be human.
